Rudy
Tom and Lisa James purchased Rudy in 2003.
I rode him some in 2004 on barrels, poles, etc
plus used him on cattle some and he did fine.
He reminds me a lot of his mom
and you can read on her webpage what all she did for me,
plus she was a good cowhorse for us, too.

There are two unregistered horses here (Cricket and Krysler)
that were raised by Lori and were out of a mare that was
Lori's first horse that she got as a weanling in
1973 from her parents.
One of those horses, Krysler, has now had
four colts...Rudy was her third.

Rudy was born March 27, 2000 and is pictured here.

He is a great grandson of Three Chicks and also goes back to
Joak and Leo on the top side of his dam.
On the bottom side of his dam,
he also goes back to Leo again plus King.
His sire is the same sire as Maudie and that includes
Colonel Freckles and Rondo Leo.

Rudy has a good temperament,
is athletic, and is approximately 15.1.
He was broke in May of 2002 and the trainer said that he's
probably the best horse that he had trained lately.
The trainer also said that he could be a cutting horse, so it sounds like
he will have plenty of quickness to work cattle or run barrels.
I rode him the summer and fall of 2002 and he
was doing great and was enjoyable to ride.
Tom and Lisa had kids on him and really
enjoyed having him on their place.
