This is a new rule from the national office.  This will affect how Vicki gives points to our members.  PLEASE READ!

For points only the time brackets will be set by the fastest time ran by the member of the sanctioning district.
If District 04 sanctions a show and a 15:20 wins the open that would be the time bracket for payback.
In that class if a district 04 members best time was a 15:40 that would set the time bracket for points.
If a show was sanctioned by more than 1 district say 04 and 03. The points for 04 would be set by the fastest 04 member the points for 03 would be set by the fastest 03 member.

Qualifications for awards
includes number of races attended
and moneymakers.
1/3 of races plus the minimum on the moneymakers have to be met in order to receive year end awards
Remember, KS04 rules require $75 for the first family member and $50 for each additional family member
to be collected in order to be eligible for year end awards.  If a youth member wants to receive an award in both the open and the youth, an additional $35 must be earned.
Check out the listing here
Updated 11-19-11

These items are the way KS04 runs it's races, etc...

KS04 will remain with National Rules regarding the points given this year.  That means if you place in the same "D" with two horses, you will only get points on that top running horse BUT you will still receive all money won on any horse.
The open will remain 4D and the Youth 3D for year end awards.  Payout will be 4D in the Open at every race.

Ties will be broken...this is done by how many races attended, then number of 1sts, 2nds, etc, and then a flip of a coin.
1/3 of the races will still need to be attended and $75 for the first family member and $50 for each additional family member will need to be turned in for moneymakers to receive year end awards.
If a youth member wants to receive an award in both the Open and the Youth, an additional $35 must be earned for year end awards.
Also, you must attend 3 district shows to be qualified for the State Championships.
