2009 Youth points
Includes National Points
2009 Jacket Series Points
Qualifications for awards
includes number of races attended
and moneymakers.
1/3 of races plus the minimum on the moneymakers have to be met in order to receive year end awards
Remember, KS04 rules require $75 for the first family member and $50 for each additional family member
to be collected in order to be eligible for year end awards.  If a youth member wants to receive an award in both the open and the youth, an additional $35 must be earned.
Check out the listing here

These items were voted on at the annual meeting held March 2...

KS04 will remain with National Rules regarding the points given this year.  That means if you place in the same "D" with two horses, you will only get points on that top running horse BUT you will still receive all money won on any horse.
The open will remain 4D and the Youth 3D for year end awards.
Ties will be broken this year...this is done by how many races attended, then number of 1sts, 2nds, etc, and then a flip of a coin.
1/3 of the races will still need to be attended and $75 for the first family member and $50 for each additional family member will need to be turned in for moneymakers to receive year end awards.
New this year...If a youth member wants to receive an award in both the Open and the Youth, an additional $35 must be earned for year end awards.
The series run this year will be a jacket series.
Nothing will change from previous years as far as payout...if there are over 40 riders, 4D will be paid out, but if under 40 riders, 3D will be paid.
Also, you must attend 3 district shows to be qualified for the State Championships.
